MacRumors explains (via Spiegel.de) a newly exposed iPhone vulnerability that has been detailed in a press release today from the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT).
Apparently the exploit was supposed to be announced in ComputerBild.de Monday, however was detailed in the press release today.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology has detailed the vulnerability and has also produced a video exploit of the problem, to view the video please go here.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology states that they notified Apple of this potential threat a month ago, and that Apple has said a fix for this vulnerability will come with the Apple iPhone Firmware 2.2 update release.
